Meet our team of highly trained professionals
At Goldcrest House we have a highly qualified, long serving and dedicated team of people to support our service users. We recruit genuinely caring people,who have a passion ‘to care’, so that each member of staff team who support our service users it is a true vocation and not just a job.
The home also work very closeley with the local Job Centre, and take regulare work placements for youngsters who would like a ‘taster’ of with working in a care setting. Goldcrest House also supports the local apprenticship scheme and currently employ an apprentice who attends Selby college to study a diploma in care.
Ralph Parish – Home Manager
After being a Senior Engineering Manager for 28 years, Ralph decided on a new career so he entered the care industry.
Keith Howie – Consultant Psychologist
Is a specialist Educational Psychologist employed on a consultancy basis to give advice, training and support to Goldcrest House staff and service users.
Eileen Smale – Programme Facilitator
Eileen is the home’s Programme Facilitator and has extensive experience in caring for adults on the Autistic Spectrum.
Trish Patrickson – Admin Manager
Trish is the home’s Administration Manager, has a wealth of experience and has been at Goldcrest since 2004.
Danielle Stockton- Clinical Residential Support
Danielle is a Clinical and Residential Support Worker at Goldcrest House working under the guidance of Keith Howie.
Julie Pickwell – Team Leader
As Team Leader Julie is responsible fro the day to day running of all areas of the home, reporting to the Registered Manager.
