Goldcrest House November Highlights

November has been busy, as you may have seen from the pictures on Facebook. We started the month by having a virtual bonfire night. This included burgers and hot chocolates by the projected ‘Fire’ wrapped up warm in blankets.

Remembrance Day saw us making crafts, showing our respect for those who fought for our country and Chris took part in another running challenge  – Remembrance Day 10k!

Screen Shot 2021-12-03 at 11.38.09We enjoyed participating in BBC Children in need this year. Those who wanted to, wore Pudsey colours for the day. We made different crafts and then finished the day with some buns and biscuits in the shape of the bear himself!

November saw us celebrating a very special milestone for Mark G. He has lived at Goldcrest for 20 years! Mark asked for a party with his favourite foods, games, music and of course a cheeky tipple.

We are well underway with our Christmas crafts which have included, cards for family, handmade baubles, epoxy resin decorations and much more. We’re looking forward to continuing with Christmas crafts, days out, Christmas movie days, our annual Christmas party and not forgetting Christmas shopping.
